Operational since 1998, the site of Grand Quevilly is the most recent manufacturing plant of the Group. It houses 162 collaborators, a third of whom are engaged in Research & Development centre, two-thirds in manufacturing and support departments.
EMEA and US FDA approved for the manufacture of products exported to the North-American market, the plant is specialized in the production of high value pharmaceutical products distributed throughout the whole world.
This plant was specially conceived to ensure the design, pharmaceutical development and manufacture of sensitive products, notably narcotics, which require important security measures and controls. The site involves continuous investments both in R&D and manufacturing in order to combine these activities and maintain the position of Ethypharm as a drug delivery leader. The new technologies of the group are designed, developed on site as nanosizing and scaled up to commercial industrial scale.
