Shanghai Ethypharm is the only Company in China specialized in the controlled release of medicinal products by the oral route, and is leader on its market. Disposing of an R&D centre, Ethypharm Shanghai started developing and manufacturing modified release / oral route products in 2000.
Within 6 years it obtained licences for more than 20 products, principally in the domains of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and pain relief, and has launched 8 products under its own brand on the Chinese market, principally in the cardiovascular domain, the most important of which include Lipilfen® (fenofibrate), Ergolan® (diltiazem), Etinoline® (salbutamol), Etimonis® (ISMN).
Shanghai Ethypharm in 2006 and 2008 has extended the manufacturing to include fluid bed coating process. The company has over 150 people in R&D, Manufacturing and Sales Local markets.
