Ethypharm’s talent is historically linked with pain control products: the company developed some products for moderate to severe pain, such as Tramadol, Oxycodone, Ketoprofen Omeprazole, or Morphine Sulfate, which totalizes more than 80% market shares in France for immediate or delayed release oral forms.
The Company is also dedicated to the development of modified release oral forms of products destined for treatment of central nervous system diseases : Buprenorphine for the treatment of opiate addiction, and Mirtazapine for depression.
Ethypharm has also concentrated upon formulations and key developments in the cardiovascular field. Over 10 products are presently marketed on a world-wide scale, such as Diltiazem, ISMN or Fenofibrate.
Ethypharm recently developed Esomeprazole, a product that logically comes just after the success of the launch of its Omeprazole.
