Supplier Relationship Management

Everything concerning the control of suppliers – including choice and evaluation of the suppliers / products pair – through to any pertaining risk management is Ethypharm’s priority. The purchasing Department works to optimize the role of the company’s partners, in the field of raw materials’ Sourcing and Security measures in place to ensure the supply of our products to our customers worldwide.

The Purchase Management deals with both the evaluation of the need and the supplier choice.
Their dynamic approach in the field of worldwide sourcing, especially in India and China for API, through secured relays and in house expertise, is an important advantage for Ethypharm’s manufacturing.

Manage supply chains worldwide

A global supply chain management extending from the supplier through to the Client is the prerogative enabling to anticipate the physical flux of the Company, thus improving the best possible expectations in Ethypharm’s physical flux.

At Ethypharm, the Supply Chain is positioned transversally in order to meet the needs and constraints of the R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Financial Departments. Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process is in place, on a monthly basis, to create a synergy between the departments involved in order to satisfy Clients’ future production requirements and to take the necessary action to meet these requirements at each level.
Advent & Planning System (APS) complement the S&OP process and is accompanied by an on-going awareness to support the supply chains of our subsidiaries worldwide for the Group.

On all its manufacturing sites, Ethypharm is involved in safety, environmental control and Sustainable Development to maintain high level of regulatory conformity in the field of Safety and Environment.

Ethypharm is involved in its development and willing to meet its own present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The company took the first steps to enroll an ISO 14001 certification based on the principle of continuous improvement of environmental performance by the management of impacts connected with Company activities and environmental respect.

Global production Management

Ethypharm produce solid oral dosage forms in bulk or finished packaged form with three major goals:
• Produce volumes necessary including clinical and commercial supply
• with a rigorous and reproducible process
• Focus on continuous improvement of speed and quality

Ethypharm proposes a range of manufacturing services to fit the customer needs including:
• Microsizing and Nanosizing of active ingredients
• Granulation: wet granulation using conventional granulator and High shear granulator
• Drug loading and Coating: microgranules and microcristals produced in conventional coating pans, perforated coating pans, or fluid bed granulator/coater
• Tabletting: orodispersible tablets (ODT),Conventional tablets, Matrix tablets, Multilayers tablets
• Coated tablets
• Encapsulation of microgranules using single filling and double filling encapsulating machines equipped with 100% weight checking systems
• Packaging: blister packaging and labelling using alu/PVC or Alu/alu blisters packaging lines

Global computerized systems for quality issues management (corrective action preventive action (CAPA), complaints, anomaly) promotes issues visibility, root cause analysis and speed to resolution.
Quality control laboratories at each plant including, raw material, in-process and final product analysis, microbiological testing, stability testing, final release by accredited quality professionals.
