History

In 1977, Ethypharm started its business in low-key fashion – at the same time the company had precisely ten employees. The new start up soon proved a success, with marketing authorisations and new product launches coming thick and fast. The company quickly realised that future success lay in exports and promptly headed out to look for new markets: among them, China, India and North America.

30 years on (and 50 development products later), Ethypharm has hoisted itself up to rank among the world’s leaders in the DDS market.

Today, the company numbers 800 employees worldwide.
